For over 13 years, Corvirtus support and solutions have played a powerful role in driving business results for Wright's Gourmet's hiring and performance systems.

Our first objective was to document the vision, culture, and values of its leaders; most notably owner and CEO Jeff Mount. As the second generation owner of his family's business, Jeff's direction and input on the qualities needed to achieve consistently irresistible customer and employee experiences. Through subject matter expert interviews, surveys, and job analysis, Corvirtus built an engaging and predictive hiring assessment and experience for candidates.

Practical and Powerful Hiring Solutions

Corvirtus conducts ongoing validation and return-on-investment analyses for Wright's Gourmet to analyze the impact of the assessments on performance, retention, and culture. 

Compared to candidates not recommended by the assessment (scoring below a critical threshold linked to key post-hire outcomes), candidates who received above-average scores were 91 percent more likely to exceed expectations for performance in the critical first six months on the job.

Using the competencies uncovered through job analysis and working with Jeff and his team, Corvirtus built an interactive structured interview process to provide a consistent interview experience and standards for all candidates.

Recruiting goes both ways. Blending Jeff's expertise with data and input from leadership and top-performing team members, Corvirtus built a realistic job preview experience for candidates. 

The RJP allows candidates to confidentially share their preferences around nuts-and-bolts requirements like scheduling and workload, as well as culture considerations like their ability to thrive in a constantly evolving and service-focused environment. In addition to evaluating the influence of the assessment on key business results, Corvirtus also measures key outcomes of the candidate experience, like intentions to refer Wright's as both a business and employer.

  • 89% of candidates who did not receive a job offer (either because they self-selected out or were declined) recommend Wright's as a place to work.
  • 81% said the recruiting and hiring process better prepared them for day one on the job.
