Marta co-founded Corvirtus in 1985. Corvirtus helps businesses in highly competitive environments compete on the basis of their culture, brand, and people who can deliver the brand.
Marta has helped guide start-ups to Fortune 500 companies grow and succeed through a rigorous focus on creating intentional cultures. She works with executive teams facing the challenges of growth and renewal and has completed over 75 such initiatives.
Her pro-bono contributions include United Way, Goodwill Industries, The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, and Sunny Vista Living Center.
Marta attended Cornell University and completed her MA in Personnel and Employee Relations from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. She is a graduate of the Colorado Springs Leadership Institute and has served as a Distinguished Lecturer at San Diego State University and panelist at Harvard Business School. Prior to Corvirtus, Marta worked in student services and operations at Cornell University and was a member of a manufacturing plant start-up team for General Electric.
Marta received Goodwill Industries’ Guiding Light Award and the University of Colorado’s Leadership Alliance Award. She has served as a director for SIR Corp, the United States Air Force Academy Falcon Foundation (USAFA), the Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF) Strategic Advisory Board, CEDPA, Pikes Peak United Way, and The Colorado Festival of World Theater.
Marta and her husband, Tom DeCotiis, live in Colorado where they enjoy the outdoors and entertaining.
